MASTERTRACK Aesthetics Module Part I: Perfecting Indirect Porcelain Restorations Friday Nov. 6, 2009  Presented by: Dr. Antonio Mancuso

Course Summary for Aesthetics –

You will learn:

1. How to systematically diagnose and treatment plan the aesthetic case using the Dental Aesthetic Assessment FormÓ developed for "Millennium Aesthetics in Niagara" by Dr. Mancuso. This diagnostic analysis will enable one to correctly determine the aesthetic treatment plan for these patients asking about aesthetic dentistry. Topics include: smile styles, smile types and artistic and scientific principles of smile design.  Numerous cases will be shown to demonstrate these principles. One will come away with a systematic approach to smile diagnosis and treatment planning.

3. Predictable and efficient temporization in less than 15 minutes. Participants will be diagnosing and treatment planning (photos, diagnostic study models) using the DAA form, then prepping, and temporizing 2-3 cases using all the principles taught in this program. 4. The rapid cementation technique utilizing rubber dam. 5. The Restorative Treatment of Malpositioned Teeth-" Instant Orthodontics"--Learn the keys to successfully handle these types of cases non-orthodontically.

Perfecting Your Anterior Bonding Saturday Nov. 7, 2009 Presented by: Dr. Edward Philips Course Summary for Aesthetics – Perfecting Your Anterior Bonding:

The restorative dentist is often challenged between placing a direct anterior composite or that of an indirect restoration.  The pros and cons of these systems will be clarified.  Case selection as to choosing a single dose monochromatic solution or that of a complex polychromatic restoration detailed. This course is a complete hands-on program that will specifically challenge the dentist to create form, function and colour in various Class IV, peg lateral and non-orthodontic alignment composite restorations.  Dark tooth opaquing and sub gingival troughing will be highlighted.  Placement and finishing will be on a specific natural model of upper anterior teeth.
